Starting to think about what to place on The List...#1 Learn how to use my new camera; #2 Ramp up fitness level; #'s 3 and beyond - yet to be determined.
Cool shot. All of the blocks give the picture that feel of "hectic". I spent all day yesterday and part of today reading the manual for my camera. I'm still not done, but I made progress. I found a few buttons on my camera that I hadn't noticed. Not bad for six months later. Ugh! I still get so confused with the ISO, aperature and shutter speed numbers. I always want to think that they are the opposite of what they should be. I guess I should just reverse what I'm thinking and it would be right. :( A lake neighbor hired me to do a photo shoot for his plumbing business, and I am so nervous. I didn't really ever plan on shooting for anyone but myself. He had been reading Brutus's blog, and liked the writing, and then clicked on my photo blog. He wants me to take photos of some of the remodel projects that he's done, and then redo the web page for the business. Yikes! I might need drugs!!
Peggy I like all of these resolutions. Mine are very similar. I want to wish you a very happy and healthy 2011. Thanks for all the love, the comments, the support, the laughs, the joys...everything! Thanks so much!!! xoxoxo
Great collage, Peggy. Want to wish you a happy new year and thanks for your great comments and all the chuckles you've given me. Always look forward to your great sense of humour and your wonderful photos.
Great shot AND resolutions! Me, I gave up New Year's resolutions years ago...my motto is "I'll get around to it when I get around to it"! I can't seem to force myself to make longterm changes until I'm good & ready! Good luck on yours and Happy New Year to you and your family Peggy! :)
@petersonsheri Woohoo, Sheri!! How exciting ~ a professional photo gig!! I know you'll do a fantastic job with the photos and the website makeover. Hope you'll post some of the project shots. Sounds like your new year will be off to a great start and interesting direction!
I can tell by your posts that you've been focused on that camera manual. You are getting terrific shots and incorporating new elements in your photos. You've got me excited about hitting the "how to" books and videos.
May 2011 be filled with all things wonderful for you, my friend! :)
@seattle Thanks, Constance! I have all the Nikon "how to" books and DVDs ready and waiting to dive into sometime after the clock strikes 12 tomorrow night. Happy 2011 to you!
@hannahturpin@pfmandeville Thanks for the comments, ladies! Good luck with your resolutions, whatever they may be. And have a fabulous 2011!
@Pamela...yes, that is a pretty amazing yoga booty!
@isisweiss Thanks so much for the wonderful comments you always offer, Isis! The support and friendship mean so much. I hope that the New Year is filled will all things wonderful for you and your family!
@girlie Robin, I always look forward to your posts and your comments...they are such wonderful day starters for me. I feel a special little connection of a sort that goes beyond the RA we share. Perhaps in a former life we were from the same Aboriginal community...we could've been Koori grandmothers or something. :) At any rate, I'm enriched by your photos, your vast knowledge of your native flora/ fauna and things in general, and your sense of fun! Wishing you the best of all things in 2011!!
@clarissajohal Thanks for your comments throughout this project, Clarissa...as well as the fabulous photos you consistently post. Wishing you, your kiddos, hubby, Sinbad, and Zeus a very magical 2011!!
@bluemoon Thanks for the comments and well wishes, Paula. I love your laid back opinion of resolutions. I'm pretty much the same way...I enjoy making them ~ but I'm not overly commited to outcome. :) Wishing you and your family all things wonderful in 2011!
@pinktornado39 Ha ~ Good luck with your list of resolutions, Laura! I could easily find 1,000 things or so to work on but most people know and love me for my bad habits. They might not like or appreciate a new and improved version. :) Wishing you, Red Gamer, your hubby, Rocco the wonder dog, and your Kitty Mafia a magical and wonderful 2011!
Your first is the same as mine Peggy. only I have to keep a notebook beside me to write down the things I find useful and note the page number so I know where to go back and check them again..and again.. and probably a few more times.. before I get the hang of it There's so much to learn and remember. Good luck with the project and looking forward to seeing more of your lovely pictures this year.
