@girlie Thanks, Robin! I'm watching the Australian Open as I'm responding...the video they've been showing of the Queensland flooding is horrific. The commentators mentioned flood water reaching New South Wales ~ I hope that your river is continuing to recede. Such heart breaking devastation in your beautiful country. Thinking of you ~
Thanks Peggy. Fortunately the rain didn't fall as heavily in our catchment but there is flooding not far away, yes. And now Victoria is having its worst floods for over a century. Climate change is upon us. They say there is more rain due in the coming weeks so we continue to cross our fingers. Thanks for your concern. (PS I'm watching the Open, too!)
Such a precious moment in time Peggy. That little Harper makes the cutest expressions, and your daughters beautiful eyelashes give the picture such a soft, loving feeling. The black and white is a really nice touch too. Your daughter must love having you around to take such amazing photos!! Did she fall in love with the tutu picture?
This is just too precious not be in a frame Peggy! You should start your own baby photography studio...this is really a stunning image of mother and baby! She's a real cutie, not doubt about it!
@petersonsheri Thank you for the wonderful comments, Sheri! Yes, Molly was thrilled with the tutu photos! And I agree, Harper's expressions are wonderful...she's such a tiny character with loads of personality already!
@barbsmith Thank you for the lovely comments, Barb. And I hope those days go quickly for you. Thank goodness for email, Skype, fB, 365, etc. that make it so much easier to stay connected and be a "virtual" part of your grandchildren's lives. I was so glad to figure out that Brooke is your daughter and to see those adorable grandchildren of yours!
@peggysirk Brooke's son James has just started 365. It will be so much fun for me to follow him and see how he sees the world. Brooke started at age 5 photographing her cat dressed in doll clothes. So the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Great shot! Love the amused shocked look on Harper's face. Your daughter is lucky to have such a talented photographer capturing these special moments.
Thanks for the wonderful comments, everyone. It's so great having a grandchild close by to photograph. She's my favorite subject, for sure!
