Today this short course bicycle race was held for the 38th year around Latta Park in the heart of the neighborhood. Over one hundred cyclists from around the country competed. It was a beautiful day for racers and spectators.
@moly They were going by so fast it was hard to pick a focus point. I got a couple of cute shots of Harper watching the action...I'll email them to you tomorrow.
You can't beat a bit of lycra!! Great shot of the action and concentration - I can't believe they don't crash more often - imagine your legs getting tired when you're in the middle of the pack, you'd just have to keep going....
Fabulous action shot, Peggy! I have no idea how they don't crash, either - they look so close together . . . but then I said they same thing about the Kentucky Derby, too. Amazing!
