The Charlotte Regional Film Commission sent a photographer out to photograph my little elderly neighbor's house as a possible site for a film project. She was so excited. I made this not so great photo collage to give to her as a documentation of the "big" event. :)
What a great idea & I'm sure she was thrilled ! I do hope they use her house ! This house is so pretty too, I would be proud to live in a house like that ! Does yours look the same ?
@happypat Thanks for the lovely comments, Pat. Actually our house looks nothing like Anita's...there are so many different architectural styles in our turn of the century neighborhood ~ Colonial Revival, Tudor, Victorian, Craftsman bungalows, Industrial condos/lofts mixed in with restaurants, shops and small businesses. It's a very eclectic urban area.
@petersonsheri I'll keep you posted, Sheri. If that happens plan on coming to stay with me for a while so we can sit on the porch, drink wine, take photos and gawk. :)
I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is the future set of the biggest blockbuster in years! I'm sure Anita was thrilled to have her house photographed even if they never use it for anything.
@moly She was thrilled, Molly. She's basking in the glow of being "almost famous". And she very much appreciates your help in getting her house on file. :)
What a fun collage. How exciting would this be to have a film production going on in the neighborhood. And then maybe "almost famous" works so they don't create turmoil in the neighborhood!
Wow! How exciting...great collage to share with your neighbor. You'll have to keep us posted on this Peggy.....maybe you'll get to be an extra in the movie and you'll become famous and we can all say we knew you before you were a star!! :)
