First Theater Experience by peggysirk

First Theater Experience

Today we went to Children's Theater of Charlotte's performance of "Uh-Oh"...interactive theater for the very young. Harper had a wonderful time ~ from the train ride to the theater to the after-performance playtime with the cast. In the center photo she is clapping for the first time. Bravo! :)
great collage, and Harper , still a little cutie

@happypat What a milestone for your little master Max! I hope you've had the opportunity to witness some of those first steps via Skype. They grow so quickly...I was hoping that grandchildren would stay little longer. :)

@parisouailleurs Actually, we're in Charlotte, NC...about 200 miles from Charleston, SC. However, I spent a great deal of my childhood on a little island off the coast just south of Charleston (Edisto Island) and my father still lives there. Did you like "South of Broad"? I found it interesting that two of the principle characters were Molly and Chad...the names of my youngest daughter and her husband. :)

@peggysirk i'm officially insane! confused between Charlotte & Charleston.... oh well that explains why i didn't "connect" with you when I was reading the book! I likked the book, love the funny dialogies (the hereo with his mother...). Molly & Chad? how funny for you! Did you read Beach Music, I liked it too!

@parisouailleurs I did enjoy "Beach Music", but my fav Conroy novel is "Prince of Tides". Part of the movie adaptation of that novel happened to be filmed on Edisto Island ~ one of the biggest events to happen on the island in decades. :)

Great collage, Peggy. It's so fun to experience those "firsts" with you grandchildren, isn't it? Enjoy every minute because they grow up as fast as our own children did.
