Late Night Alfresco

Took this quickly as I passed these diners on my way home from the theater following "An Evening with Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert". Anthony Bourdain isn't nearly as jerky as he sometimes seems to be on TV ("No Reservations") ~ he's very entertaining. And Eric Ripert is so charming ~ it's on my wish list to dine at his Le Bernardin in NYC.

Happily all is fixed with 365 and Internet Explorer/Google users...I can start to catch up with comments!! :)

Nice shot. I had to check to see where you are because of the al fresco dining in shirt sleeves. We haven't turned on the heat yet but came close today when it is rainy and dipping to mid forties.

@judithg It has been an unusually warm autumn so far. However, we are on the cusp of a change...going from a high of 79 (26C) today to 53 (12C) tomorrow. I think last night, well maybe tonight, was the last night for comfortable outdoor evening dining for a while.
Thanks for asking about the knee...apparently it's just going to be another bump on a bumpy road. But I'm learning how to deal with setbacks. :)

@rayswrld We've had an unusual run of mild days for late October, Ray. That's all about to change overnight or tomorrow with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. It's been nice while it's lasted. :)

@wwhite13 @isisweiss Isis and Wendy ~ I think you both would have enjoyed the event. It was almost two hours of Bourdain and Ripert on stage in two comfortable arm chairs talking about food, restaurants and the latest trends in food. Tony also took the opportunity to rip on some of his least favorite celebrity chefs.
