Harper is my little Zen Master. To be around her is a study in awareness, compassion, and gratitude. Nothing escapes her attention and consideration ~ every leaf, stone, laugh, ray of sunlight, musical note, dog in the park, new taste...My tiny teacher savors all. Life is good. :)
Happy Twelfth Day of Christmas! Guess I'd better get the wreaths down....
It is a gift to see the world through a toddler's eyes. Why we lose that and then struggle to regain it as adults is a mind boggling question. Thankfully we have the children to be our teachers and guide us back to the right path. And, by the way, an awesome shot. Love the shadows and light.
Gorgeous photo - such determination! Bet you have to do a lot of running to catch up! And get that wreath down - we don't want a repeat of last year's great late wreath scandal!!
I love this photo! I love your commentary even more. It's too bad we cannot keep the perspective of a child as we grow. I guess that's why we have grandchildren.
Isn't that the truth. I love what my grand kids make me aware of. They help me realize how significant seemingly little things are. Love the shadows and the way Harper is walking away.
