Scrappy's Second Home

This is "316" ~ the bar around the corner that is my cat's second home. He even has his own bar stool. Oh, the life of a gangsta cat. :)
Well this is not your usual bar Peggy..very upmarket & quite a suitable place for Scrappy to spend his time , I approve !!!!

Wow, that is quite some bar! I could easily become a bar fly. I would like that to be my house! (On the ocean, of course) :)

Scrappy has discriminating taste. This is a gorgeous place! How is it that he started hanging out here? I find it so amusing.

@lisjam1 Lisa ~ Scrappy was dumped in the parking lot of the bar when he was just a little guy. Barb, the bartender, started feeding him, taking him to the vet, had him neutered and chipped, and generally looked out for him. When we moved into the neighborhood many years later, he decided to adopt us as his second home. Barb moved to Hilton Head, SC a couple of years ago and asked if we would be his official caregivers. Tom and I were delighted to be owned by him. The only real challenge is getting him to the vet for his yearly check up/vaccinations. Half the time I have to reschedule the appt because I can't find him...and when I do, I have to wear leather gloves and a jacket when getting him in the cat carrier. :) He still loves to hang out at the bar and has been locked in overnight on more than one occasion. He falls asleep on his bar stool and gets overlooked. I know that when he doesn't show up for breakfast he's likely locked in the bar and will show up around 10 am when the cleaning crew arrives. He's a total character!

@peggysirk What a story! It sounds like something right out of a James Herriott book. I bet he’s legendary at the bar!
