I Didn't Know

...until I saw these in the grocery store today. My granddaughter thinks Oreo cookies are one of the basic food groups despite her mommy's best and constant efforts to offer healthy and nutritious foods. I almost didn't pick these up thinking they probably taste like cardboard or kelp. I brought them home and did a preliminary Grammy taste test...Delicious!! Every bit as good, if not better, than Oreos. I'll let you know how they rate with a 2-year-old's taste test. :)

Three Good Things:
1. A lazy, rainy day.
2. My iPod music playing.
3. A return to the gym after a lengthy layoff.
Love the way your three good things cancel each other out Peggy!!!! Glad to see the lazy day comes first!!! I am going back to Callanetics tomorrow after a two week break & the whole summer before that !! Must admit I do feel better when doing exercise though so you will soon get back in your routine. These won't help if you are taste testing, I must try Oreos... I think they look pretty disgusting but have never tried so who am I to talk!!

Love the homey kitchen scene behind - with the stand mixer - like these cookies could even come close to mimicking home-made!

If you have a Whole Foods, you should try their 365 cookies (they look like Oreos) and come in vanilla or chocolate. While I know they are healthier than Oreos, I doubt they have as much Vitamin C as a cup of blueberries!

@wwhite13 I was a regular Whole Foods shopper in ATL and loved most of the 365 line. The first Whole Foods opened here in Charlotte about 2 weeks ago...haven't been yet. That might be a good thing to do this week. :)

@bpaquette I agree ~ home made has it all over store bought any day. I'm hoping Harper agrees one of these days...so far Oreos beat anything Grammy has made. :(

Love the scene. Cool. Adverts are disinformation.
