This was a failed experiment in photographing a dogwood tree, in early rainy morning darkness, illuminated by a streetlight, using slow shutter speed and, unfortunately, no tripod. The resulting blurriness kind of gives it an added wet look...so I'm going with it. :)
Three good things:
1. A rainy Monday
2. The month of October
3. Starting my Simplicity Project today...getting rid of 10 things a day each day this month. Things like dried up pens, socks with holes, and dead batteries qualify as dispensable items. :)
That sounds a very ambitious project Peggy...ten things sound such a lot!!!! Great idea though ...minimilistic that is what I would aim for but I have a long way to go in my house!!!
Love this photo, reminds me of a stencil
Oh my word I like the sound of that project - I'm going to do it but I need to get rid of fifty things a day :0). I love your tree - no such thing as a failed experiment just an unexpected result!!
Gorgeous colors and lighting! I need to get on board with that project!! I can already think of all the socks I have with no match! Why do I hang on to them, like the other will magically appear?!
@bpaquette Very cool! Such gorgeous glass! The colors of the leaves are so similar. If I'd taken the time to use a tripod, I might have had clear detail similar to the window as well. Oh well...I'll haul out the tripod next time. :)
This turned out great. love the colorful leaves and the dark tree in contrast. Your getting rid of 10 things is a great idea. Minght have to copy it ;)
At least you had a go an dlearnt from it.
