I'm not really proud of the pumpkins...just referring to the security force, on the left, keeping a close eye on things. :)
Thanks for all the lovely comments on the framed print of Robin's (@girlie) fabulous photo yesterday. When I tried edit the post to correct the link to Robin's photo, my entire commentary was deleted...and I was totally 'frozen out' of re-doing it, even in my second album. That's never happened before. I'm just sorry it was that post that went screwy...I wanted to share the story of Robin's talent and her generosity in sharing her beautiful photo with me.
Three good things:
1. Moving through the disequalibriations of the day with relative composure/equanimity.
2. The serenity of early morning
3. Flu shots
@breit1 Actually, a 365er, Martha Wright, brought up the power of positive psychology in a discussion thread a couple of months ago. She suggested that anyone that might be interested start adding three good things about their day on their photo posts. I know of quite a few 365ers who are doing it. It's fun and certainly helps to reinforce the the fact that gratitude and awareness can greatly benefit the quality of a day. Feel free to join in! :)
Composition is great here Peggy, those pumpkins zing with colour! I am with you on the first two goodys but can't make mu mind up about the flu one!!! Harry had his jab last week & it's the last Saturday tomorrow.....shall I go & have a shot or not??
@happypat Well, Pat...I can say that I would much rather have a quick stick in the arm than endure the total misery of flu. Of course, now that I have no immune system it's pretty much a necessity that I get vaccinated. But even before the onset of my auto immune breakdown, I was the first person in line every year for a shot. I HATE flu!! You have one day to decide... :)
Love this very artistic and creative shot. Shows what you can do with a couple of pumpkins and a pride of lions... @happypat Hope you got jabbed, Pat; I always do and think it's well worth it.
Beautiful Autumn still life Peggy! Glad you managed the serenity - I've been in an evil bad mood - not like me really and I'm blaming the march of time - might have to consider HRT if only for the sake of Customer Services in the local supermarket!!
@happypat Blimey I'd have it Pat - I managed to scrounge one once when Rachel was having hers - the thought is worse than the reality - unlike real flu in which the reality is a lot worse than any imagination!!
@happypat Hope you got jabbed, Pat; I always do and think it's well worth it.
