Three good things:
1. Blackened grouper for dinner tonight. Actually cooking it in a cast iron skillet on the grill outside so it doesn't smoke up the house and set off the alarm. :)
2. Another beautiful February day
3. Going to music class with Harper tomorrow. I've got my camera battery charging now. :)
Wonderful capture of such a pretty street. Love the architecture of the houses, with those nice front porches. Sounds like nice dinner tonight, taking advantage of the good day. Look forward to your pictures with Harper.
I could easily live in any of these pretty houses, the city buildings behind a complete contrast.
Blackened grouper, which I think might be fish, sounds rather nice & tasty.
Nice shot, Peggy, love the architectural style of the houses in your neighbourhood. I guess you're approaching Spring. We got the first hint of Autumn this morning.
@bpaquette It's a turn of the century neighborhood, Most of the homes were built between 1900-10. Lots of major remodeling to many...but within the constraints of historical neighborhood code. So, it's pretty much as it was in it's early years.
I love my beach house on cape cod because I can get away , but there is something to be said for city living . This is an awesome shot of that . Looks like a fabulous place to call home.
@judithg Come on over, Judith...the weather is delightful (for the time being)! There are quite a few homes for sale and I'd love to have you for a neighbor! :)
Love these cozy homes with front porches and how cool to see the city in the background. Would love to see the interior decor of some of these homes, being a lover of shabby chic & Victorian stuff :-) Blackened grouper sounds so yummy!
