...one of many. I was tired of waiting for the rain to end and decided to work with it. Posting early with a shot from yesterday.
Three good things:
1. Harper is coming over to spend the afternoon while her mom and dad attend a social event with 'big people'.
2. Relearning things about my camera
3. The Academy Awards...I do appreciate well made movies, but I really watch for the fashion show :)
Very beautiful and dreamy Peggy. The lovely green background really highlights the sharpness of the water drop and absolutely love the reflections in the drop.
We have Abi coming to stay with us for the night too and a day off work tomorrow to go and play for the day, so we both have good things to look forward to.
Thanks, @bpaquette! It is a bokeh drop at the bottom. I was trying to get both drops in focus, but had no luck and was getting wet in the process. :) Yes, Harper still takes a good afternoon nap. In fact, she can't wait to take a nap when she's over here...she seems to love sleeping in Grammy and Granddaddy's bed.
Love it! I see you have gotten those camera books back out. I haven't done so well with water droplets in the past - something I need to work on as I absolutely love them. Have a fun day with Harper!
When life hands you lemons, right? I didn't watch the Academy Awards this year because I fell asleep! I always wonder why I watch because I usually haven't even seen most of the movies. I'm pretty sure it's related more to the fashions as well.
