First Peggy i love your china....a very pretty & classic pattern....even nicer to eat your strawberries out of special china.
You do look well organised for a couple of hours in front of the TV!
A very English scene with your elegant china and strawberries and cream ready to watch Wimbledon. Because it was such a beautiful day, we were outside having a very rare BBQ and so didn't see the match, but I'm so pleased he finally won. Hope you enjoyed it.
@suesmith you shouldn't have told Peggy! She was going to eat strawberries out of delicate English china and peruse the tennis gradually! Now she knows! I love this sort of china! Where is the English Breakfast tea?
@suesmith You didn't spoil anything, Sue! I was watching every point in real time. I posted this before the match started live at 9:00am ET. :) What a wonderful win for Andy and all of GB!
PS I don't know if you can get hold of any BBC programmes - they made a documentary called 'Andy Murray: the man behind the racquet' that was shown before the tournament and again after - it's a great watch if you can download it somehow. Shows exactly how painful the shooting at Dunblane still is as well - every time there is a new shooting the town must hurt again.
