This is an arrangement on a neighbor's front porch. I just love the lion head planters she has on either side of the front door. If I had been the thief who stole one of my front porch planters, I certainly would have gone for one of these instead. :) Posting early as I'm getting ready to fight rush hour traffic to my mom's house to take her to a doctor's appointment. Have a wonderful day, everyone!
Three good things:
1. I heard our neighborhood Barred owl hooting just a while ago.
2. Rush hour traffic in Charlotte is a piece of cake compared to Atlanta traffic.
3. Tom is in Houston this week, so I'll have plenty of time to catch up with 365 tonight.
Beautiful arrangement and you created a lovely still life. I agree, last time I was in Atlanta was in the mid 90s and the traffic was a night mare. Crazy people changing lanes. I-4 is like that at times here in Orlando and no one obeys the speed limit. We have an owl, too but I never see him only hear him :-)
Magnificent display & beautifully captured by you Peggy...is it usual for people to decorate their houses for Halloween, I must say I do like this. Our Halloween stuff is very tacky & we never decorate like this...I pretty much don't even think about Halloween, mostly just the kids do over here.
@pinktornado39 Laura ~ actually Tom is in the little town of Woodville, TX, about an hour and a half north of Houston. He's just flying in and out of Bush. Think he'll be doing most of his dining at the Stagecoach Inn in Woodville. :)
A lovely collection - I did grow gourds specially for autumn decoration a couple of years ago and Nigel spent the whole time trying to throw them out - you can't get the staff....
