Miracle in a Jar... by peggysirk

Miracle in a Jar...

I wish! Looking in the mirror this morning after a toss and turn night, a bit of an RA flare from yesterday's flu shot, and an overdue hair appointment, I had this idea for a selfie. :)

Three good things:
1. Went to yoga class this morning even though I didn't feel like it. Glad I did.
2. My sister is coming for a visit this weekend!!
3. The print in my bathroom behind me in the photos is an enlargement of a photo by former 356er (Robin ~ aka 'girly').
Oh if only it was that easy, but you look gorgeous without any assistance.

Goodness me Peggy I want some of that stuff...where do you buy it...must google it! You look wonderful in every way. I can see Harper in your face too & I think your hair is lovely....very trendy & modern!
Enjoy your sisters visit!

@happypat Thanks, Pat! You've made me feel better about my crazy hair. Maybe I won't worry so much about getting to the salon. I was kind of thinking about giving it one last chance to grow out a little bit before I am way beyond the age of long hair. It's so easy just to pull it back and twist it up.

Hahahaa!! You'll have to go heavier with the airbrush to get on the front of Good Housekeeping - you still look normal (the US version - the UK one can't get away with overt airbrushing). I like your hair too - nothing wrong with it!

Over the moon! I showed Ken, and he says, "Is that an ad? Do you know her?" It DOES look pretty legit! I adore your sense of humor...that's wonderful!

What a clever idea and how cute you look! I like the idea of the print in back.

Please send some this way as I want to look as good as you. The before pic is much more natural and attractive and I would be quite happy to look as good as that first thing in the morning.

This is super - its nice to know the wrinkles and bags can be dealt with - if only it was permanent! Your hair has a lovely curly and windswept look - very trendy nowdays! I know what you mean about yoga - I never wanted to go but always felt so good afterwards. I find it boring lying down in meditation.

@maggiemae I liked teaching yoga better than taking yoga...I could choose the poses and sequences I liked best. :) But I always included a nice lengthy mediation at the end.

Very well done Peggy

Love you just as you are. I actually found this quote today before I saw your pic: β€œThe most beautiful makeup of a woman is passion. But cosmetics are easier to buy.” Yves Saint-Laurent

Lovely Peggy and lovely sense of humor!
