These shoes were abandoned on the sidewalk down the street. Looks like someone stepped out of her car directly into the puddle. Apparently the shoes were determined to be a lost cause and were left behind. :)
Three good things:
1. Daughter, Elizabeth, arriving on Thursday for a long weekend visit
2. A cleaned out and organized pantry
3. I've only bought Halloween trick-or-treat candy that I don't like, saving myself countless unnecessary calories :)
