To jump or not to jump. That was the question facing this squirrel in a quandary. He elected not to jump and went back the way he came. Hope everyone has a problem free Thursday!
Three good things:
1. A delightful day with my mom yesterday
2. A rainy soup-making day today and I might even make my grandmother's fabulous chocolate cake. I've had chocolate on my mind...
3. Found a lost iPhone on the sidewalk yesterday and was able to reunite it with it's grateful owner
This is AWESOME! At first I thought it was a mouse, and couldn't imagine how you were able to catch it standing still! Great capture, as always Peggy! Enjoy your soup, and definitely make the chocolate cake too. It sounds delightful. Sending love your way.
@petersonsheri Thanks, Sheri! Definitely a squirrel...debating whether or not he could reach the tree that was just out of range.
I'm thinking Minnesota Wild Rice soup is going to be on the menu for tonight. Hugs ~
A good neighbour you were Peggy.....those iphones are expensive kit! Love the empty space in this picture...I though at first it was a mouse peeping out...definitely a jump too far!!
It looks huge when compared with the house! Clearly has good judgement. I was laughing at Monty careering round and round the garden this afternoon while the squirrel he was after sat on Nigel's office roof - and Monty didn't look up!
Great use of negative space Peggy. Love the colours too. Great shot. I made soup out of the squashes/pumpkins featured in my Halloween shot. It smelled delicious but when I tasted it, it was the most foul tasting thing ever and I had to throw the whole lot away. Obviously those squashes were for decoration purposes only!
