Abundance

While I am aware that Santa Claus isn't the 'Reason for the Season', I love how he encompasses the Spirit of the Season...with an abundance of magic and wonder, giving and receiving, kindness, and an infinite capacity to love. I hope that everyone is experiencing a wonderful Christmas season.

Three good things:
1. The way thick fog makes things a little mysterious
2. A good day for making Christmas cookies
3. Carolina Panthers (NFL) game this afternoon
Oh how beautiful this is. Is he a Santa at the mall or the real one? :-) Fav, of course!

Well we know this too, but there is a symbolism as he represents the same spirit. He can go anywhere in no time flat, and he knows everything about us, and is also known as, and represents the ultimate gift giver. Merry Christmas to all.

so many people get so upset about this taking the place of the real meaning of Christmas. There is nothing wrong with adding a little magic and mystical events for the day especially for the children, It is up to the parents to make sure the kids know the main reason we celebrate the day... I still believe

@sarasdadandmom I couldn't agree more, Terry. :)

@cimes1 Thanks, Carole! This was the Santa at the Children's Museum here in Charlotte...I'm pretty sure he was the real deal, on his pre-Christmas tour from the North Pole. :)

That's such a wonderful way if putting it Peggy.

@sarasdadandmom @peggysirk Exactly, and the symbolism helps us to reinforce the real story behind it all. Sometimes people get all up in arms about the silliest things. Christmas should be a fun time, and as Parents we can easily include Santa with our festivities and survive to enjoy another year. Keep it fun. My goodness, if we take away all the fun, it will just be another day. God wants us to enjoy the day, and keep it fun.
