Ice Ice Baby by peggysirk

Ice Ice Baby

The new little skater, surrounded by protectors (dad and mom) ready to catch her if she falls.

Three good things:
1. Got my new phone all set up
2. Friendly help at 1 800 my iphone
3. An early bedtime with a good book

I put a sponge in my son's and daughter's pants when they learned to save their tail bones LOL

@sarasdadandmom That's a good idea, Terry. Bubble wrap might be a fun option too ~ it would make some cool noises if you took a bump. :)

Learning so young is good ...not as far to fall! A great thing to learn, I always think skating looks such fun. A great composition here too! What is your book Peggy if you don't mind me asking....I have had such rubbishy books lately!

I have no sense when it comes to setting up these new techy things.

I LOVE my iphone! It has become my new camera in many instances because there is enough definition to enlarge and edit on my computer (I email the pix to myself and open them on the desktop computer). Am also rather fond of my word games - Words with Friends and Upwords. Oh and texting. And the occasional phone call.

@bpaquette My daughter gave me the new 5S for Christmas...a big upgrade from my 3G. I LOVE it! It was a bit of a challenge to transfer all of my apps and info from the old phone to the new one...but Charles, at 1 800 myiphone, was a big help.

@happypat You asked me days ago what I was reading, Pat, and I forgot to respond at the time..so sorry! I'm reading a really gruesome crime/thriller, "Evil at Heart" by Chelsea Cain. It's part of a series... the third of five or six. I would not recommend it if you're even a little bit squeamish. However, some others that I've read recently that were very good are, "War Brides" by Helen Bryan, "Every Last Cuckoo" by Kate Maloy, and "The Snow Child" by Eowyn Ivey. "The Devil All the Time" by Donald Ray Pollock is a little edgy, quirky, and brutal but I found it a fascinating look at the dark side of human nature.
