I'm starting out a new year of 365 with a string of loser photos, but I haven't had time to start on resolution #9...Work on photography skills. :) I spent the afternoon in the kitchen instead of with my camera, Photography for Dummies books and how-to DVDs. It's been a cold and windy day and I had Brunswick Stew on my mind. So with the smoked pork left over from Wednesday and one rotisserie chicken, I started making my daughter's wicked Brunswick Stew recipe. I had so much chicken left that I decided to make a chicken pie for my neighbors...which turned into enough for one for my mom...which turned into enough for a bigger one to stick in the freezer for later. I'm kind of amazed at the power of one chicken. :)
Three good things:
1. Brunswick Stew for dinner on a very cold night
2. Check marks on my to-do list
3. Today I heard someone say, "If you are blessed, be a blessing". I like that.
These are beautifully created and cooked. Well done, you for going to all that trouble! Much more pleasing to more people than reading books for dummies!
I wish I lived near you Peggy......these look delicious & I am hungry, trying to keep of the fattening stuff in between meals !! Love the finishing touches! I like your #3 GT.
Yo're so funny..."loser photo" haha! This looks like a photo journal photo...and a delightful story to go along with it! (Personally, I would love to see a "story photo" than a "practice photo" of "a water drop", for example...)
love the little pastry decoration on the tops :) Always enjoy your writing as well as your pictures. Thanks for the New Year message and the same to you straight back
Also on my Amazon.com wishlist - Photography for Dummies or Idiots...whatever. LOL! But I really like this photo. And you sound like you're quite the chef. Looks so yummy!
