We went to the Fairy Festival yesterday and had a delightful time! Harper and I made a fairy boat out of popsicle sticks. Unfortunately, and not surprisingly, it wasn't very seaworthy. I think our mast wasn't properly balanced. But a game of 'Sink or Float' turned out to be just as entertaining...dozens of sticks were all floaters and dozens of rocks were all sinkers. :)
Three good things:
1. The sun came out and it turned into a beautiful day for a fairy festival.
2. Several acres of woods, lakeshore and fields filled with little fairies and gnomes
3. A wonderful dinner with my brother Jack, nephew Dawson, my mom, and Tom last night.
Oh bless that fairy!! And an excellent science lesson to boot. Hope your side of the pond warms up soon - I would be on anti-depressants by now judging by the weeks of frozen photos!
She looks like a perfect little fairy princess Peggy....sounds like you both had a wonderful time! Did you have to wear wings too...if so we want piictures!! :)
