Baking Day by peggysirk

Baking Day

It's a wet and windy February day...a good day for making Valentine cookies. ☺

Three Good Things:
1. Heart shaped cookies
2. Getting home before the rain starts
3. Green tea with honey
Very promising baked goods with the beautiful display. Great capture.

What a tidy table Peggy! So interesting to see all your baking things out there.....your butter is in such a strange shape! Our butter is a more oblong shape not as narrow as yours. I see too that you measure in cups same as they do in NZ. We never do cups it's either imperial or metric measurements. Love your red accessories!

@happypat In the US our butter generally comes in a four 'stick' package (1lb)...each stick is 1/4 lb (1/2 cup). I also love Kerrygold butter from Ireland. It comes in a single 8 oz chunk.
