Forsooth! 'Tis a Duel on the Green...

Saw this random pair of fencers engaged in a bout near the 7th Street train station.

Three Good Things:
1. It appeared to be a friendly fencing face off ☺
2. A wonderful day with lots of family at the children's museum, followed by lunch, uptown
3. I haven't taken the down comforter off the bed...it's going to be a crazy cold 25°F/-4°C tonight. Spring temps are slow to arrive this year...which is not a good thing, just an observation. ☺

Love the way you did the focus - nicely captured!

Wonderful DOF in this shot Peggy! Quite a sight to see this in a public place!! I have dithered whether to put the flannelette sheets on the beds this time....we are a bit warmer than you but cotton is cold!
Your streets are numbered as in NY too?

I used to love when we had fencing class in high school. Thanks for the memory!!

@happypat The streets in the uptown area running east-west are numbered,..just not as many numbers as in NYC. ☺ It makes it very easy to get around.

I loved fencing too, @bpaquette. We didn't have it in high school, but I would sign up for fencing at camp every summer.

@peggysirk It was amazingly easy to know pretty much where you where in NY I agree...I soon caught in to the system....a very good method unlike ours which I all names & roads that go any direction!
