Grandson Will and one of his 'Iron Pigs' teammates have the infield covered playing fall baseball (T-ball).
Three Good Things:
1. Little dudes playing baseball
2. An incredibly exciting UT/UGA football game yesterday. Congrats to my UT alumni youngest daughter and son-in-law! Better luck next year to my UGA alumna eldest daughter.
3. A very rapid response from the Charlotte police department to our 2:00AM call to 911 reporting a man trying to beat down our front door. Four police cars were in front of our house within three minutes. Well done, CMPD.
@linnypinny Thanks, Lin! And thanks for the fav!! It was a bit disturbing for a short amount of time last night. Turns out it was a very, very inebriated individual from out of town who had been with friends at a local bar. He ended up on our street 'looking for his wife'. When the police arrived he was sitting in our flowerbed pretty much unaware of anything.
Your grandchildren do get involved with sport early. So sweet in their Iron Pig gear but a less looking iron pigs I ever saw! Great edit in sepia! Just reading above about your scary night, must have been very disturbing for you, I bet it took a while to get back to sleep!
