Problem at the Bland Street Station

The transit cops were assisting in an emergency situation...the ticket dispenser door was frozen shut. It's COLD!!!

Three Good Things:
1. I'm making potato soup this afternoon
2. Ten hours of sleep last night...it was too cold to do anything else
3. Forecast high for Friday is 70°F/21°C. I'll take it!

They look quite bewildered as to know what to do Peggy! No jug of hot water to pour on to thaw out then, that's usually the answer in a frozen situation! You have remarkably varying temperatures!

a real predicament and I agree, you have a big variation in temps like we do here in Adelaide although we dont get as cold. a great street shot
