We donate regularly to three different animal charities...The Humane Society, ASPCA, and Alley Cat Allies (in memory of Scrappy and Pax). Mailing lists are obviously freely shared among animal funding foundations as we are constantly deluged with pleas for help. This is just two days worth of requests for donations. Twelve requests...from bumblebees to circus elephant retirement centers. I wish we could help them all, but even more, I wish they'd convert to electronic communication. This is a lot of paper.
Three Good Things:
1. We didn't lose power during last night's huge thunderstorms
2. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine watching an amazing lightning display
3. The perfect grilled cheese sandwich
