Last weekend I went over to help my mother make three Texas Sheet Cakes for her cooking club get together. I've had chocolate cake on my mind ever since. Yesterday I just had to make one of my own. :)

2. Daughter, Elizabeth, coming from ATL for a long weekend visit
3. The start of college football season
