Song of Appreciation

This American Robin was just delighted that I finally got around to cleaning the bird bath. I feel totally terrible for not having done it sooner. I promise to never let it get so nasty again.
Three Good Things:
1. Getting things spruced up for the Great Backyard Bird Count
2. The primo songbird seed I ordered arrived today
3. Cleaned and sanitized the bird feeder. Was shocked to read that I should be doing that every few weeks. I've only been doing it a couple of times a year. A new birding regimen will be put into effect immediately. Knowledge is a wonderful thing. :)
Well I’m glad you’re a woman after my own heart with competitive garden bird watching!! Also top tip on the birdbath - are there specific instructions?

I think the birds are lucking out this year during Covid. So many people have taken a new interest in the birds, myself included. Looking forward to you sharing and tips you may come up with to influence the birds attendance.

@judithg Having grown up with five brothers I'm a little competitive by nurture. ☺
The recommended procedure for bird feeder cleaning are:
1. Disinfect with bleach
2. Wash with detergent
3. Rinse
4. Let dry completely before filling with seed
Repeat every 2-3 weeks. Don't know if that will happen, but I'll make an effort to clean it at least seasonally.
