Yesterday we had five Charlotte Mecklenburg School administrators volunteering at the soup kitchen as part of their CMS Week of Service. Toyia, Summer, Jennifer, Margie, and Amy were awesome. We got so much done with their help.

Good to have more help, let’s hope they are inspired to do so on a more permanent basis! All looks so organised! I think I might like doing that if I lived near you!
@happypat They all said they would like to come back at some point. I think they enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed having them. But all of these women are school principals and I know their weekday time is limited.

@bkp That’s exactly what I thought! In fact, I told one of them she looked more like a student-teacher than a principal. Turns out she was 48 and had two kids in college. 🤷♀️
