Peach Season

Glad I got to the farmers market yesterday. Today, the first day of summer, is a washout with the remnants of Tropical Storm Claudette moving through.
Three Good Things:
1. Fresh peaches with yogurt for breakfast
2. Summer rain
3. A good morning for going back to bed

Oh wow now they look good! I’m inspired to cycle down to the market tomorrow. Sadly we have to add air miles to our peaches but still….

Oh I love a good peach. I grew up near upstate New York peach orchards along Lake Ontario. The local peaches here cannot compare.
