I’m surrounded by helpers. My awesome grandbuddies on my left helped me receive and refrigerate a drop off of 28 pans of fabulous mac and cheese delivered by the wonderful non-profit group on my right. The mac and cheese will be the standout in Friday’s soup kitchen lunch.
Three Good Things:
1. Outstanding helpers
2. A fun two days with my grandbuddies ❤️
3. Waiting on rain from tropical storm Elsa 🤞🏻
What a great photo Peggy! Since you started working in the food kitchen, not that many moons ago you seem to have become the very heart of the operation….I know there are more of you but you are there every week hail, rain or snow! Great example fir your young grandbuddies!
@happypat Harper and Will had a great time lending a hand. They both want to come help on an actual soup kitchen day. I love that they feel a sense of altruism and compassion.
@bkp I'm sure you know how much we appreciate this kind of help with a meal. It's a wonderful break. Just the break from dishwashing alone is a gift. ☺
What a heartwarming photo (I think I speak for everyone when I say we can use more of those!) And the grandbuddies are almost as tall as you! Time flies!
