Chris, the 'sax man', was out playing some awesome tunes on a summer afternoon. He is an incredible musician. He said he was out blowing off some stress as the situation in Afghanistan unfolds. Chris did two tours of duty there and is concerned about the safety of troops remaining to help with evacuation, and for the future of Afghan friends and support workers.
Three Good Things:
1. Good, caring people
2. Saxophones
3. It's 15° cooler today than it was yesterday
Whew, I get why he needs to blow off steam. My heart aches for the men and women who have served and lost so much and have seen horrible things…and now…for what? Glad he has a healthy outlet.
Nothing like a saxophone playing, it’s such a goosebump instrument when you hear it! Love this one Peggy….wish I had been there to hear it myself!
The Afghan situation is dire Peggy! I am fearful for them all but especially the women. I feel it’s a pity the decision was made by our governments perhaps.
