It was a perfect chilly fall day to make beef stew. A church social group brought scarves they knitted for our soup kitchen customers. And another neighborhood group dropped off awesome knit caps they had made. And we celebrated Suzanne's Halloween birthday.
Three Good Things:
1. Reminders that there is so much more good in the world than we might be led to believe by media sources
2. Two hundred hot lunches served
3. Game three of the World Series tonight. Go Braves!
All good news, love the hats & scarves, they will be so very welcome! Just thinking the kind folk who knit these lovely things will be quite chuffed if they see one of their distinctive hats around town.
