This jury summons arrived today. Just what I want to add to December's calendar. I read that you can be excused if you've been summoned for jury duty within the past two years. I missed that exemption by two months. As a good citizen, I have registered my juror profile online as requested.
Three Good Things:
1. Today is Call To Earth Day...a day to raise awareness of environmental issues and conservation measures.
2. I'm making a serious effort to make sustainable and environmentally friendly choices
3. I'll be able to recycle this jury summons next month
I served as an alternate on a jury of two lawyers suing each other…a three week chunk of my life, their redacted tax forms had more income numbers than I would ever see in my life, and then they ended up settling over a weekend. I think I should be exempt for life.

Ooh Peggy…I was asked for jury service twice in my life but sadly on both occasions I had a very young baby so had to be excused….I was gutted as I would really have liked to do jury service.
