After watching a YouTube DIY video, ordering a part on Amazon with next day delivery, and finding the correct screwdriver head (the most difficult/time consuming step in the process), I knocked out a repair to the dishwasher in less than 20 minutes.
Three Good Things:
1. Cleaned out the dishwasher interior while I was at it
2. Looks and runs like a brand-new dishwasher
3. Think I might buy a pair of hiking boots with the money saved on a repair call
Way to go!! We were without a dishwasher for almost two years (mostly due to my wife's requirement that it be white to match the other appliances...but settled on a stainless steel a few months back).
