A local sports hero passed away yesterday. He had a spectacular play in 1972 that we here will never forget. Franco was a very decent man and loved Pittsburgh. So sad to see him gone. If you are interested, google “The Immaculate Reception”. You may not understand American football but I think you will get the idea.
@amyk The Steelers play the Raiders Saturday night. Not much riding on the outcome of the game like there was 50 years ago. In light of Franco’s passing it will be a little sad to watch win or lose.
