So my bird bath broke a couple years back, (actually I dropped it putting it away for the fall). Last year I was able to find an epoxy that worked to keep it together and hold water Last week I decided to clean it with vinegar, forgot about it and overnight the vinegar softened the epoxy. How was I to know. So here I am again gluing it together. My husband was rather pleased to find out that the vinegar would have that effect. Knowledge for the field.
