You're right! It IS the same rock! I like the way your shot captures the wonderful shadow it casts, and the foreground polygon shaped mud and the sense of being all alone in the vast playa, all the way to the blur of the distant mountains. I can see another track in the distance, too, But when I was there, this position would have shown at least 8 people, tripods, and no possibility for this angle. How fun that you connected my shot to yours!
