...arrived in mail. Patent for the camera is 1910-13, so it is at least 100 years old. Originally it used Kodak A127 autographic film. The stylus was on back of camera and everything works. Bought it for US$13.
Gave the lens and viewfinder a light clean, loaded a roll of black & white 127 film, and shot a test roll of family portraits this afternoon. Will be interesting to see how these turn out
Great little camera, I had one. They were a favourite with soldiers in World war I because they could be carried into battle without adding too much weight.
These vintage cameras are amazing, Peter! So glad you're sharing them with us. Looking forward to the pictures from this one. My mother had a camera that looked like this one. I wish I had it but she got rid of it when we moved....
