@ltodd said: "Your challenge is "A Step Back in Time" and take a shot that replicates the subject matter of a shot the oldest camera in your camera collection may have taken. You are also limited (as far as is practical) to the capabilities of that old camera - ie while you can use any camera you like to take the shot of any suitable subject matter, you can only use manual focus, and the range of aperture, shutter speeds and equivalent ISO of the film etc and settings available at the time of manufacture for your oldest camera. You can use any camera and any processing you like for your shots, and let's see if you can produce an authentic shot of the era of your oldest camera."
This photo was taken with one of my favourite cameras at the old quarries at Bombo Point. A place that was quarried very early after European settlement. The film is expired black and white, and the camera is operated completely manually. See camera here http://365project.org/peterdegraaff/365/2012-05-25
I am having another roll developed, done with size 127 panchromatic B&W film taken with a Baby Box Tengor from 1933 but it won't be ready until next week.
It does look like stone that would be quarried. I like the spots of water inn the shot too! Difficult challenge - too much like school for me to take part!
this is unbelievable Peter! Love Rocks and i cant get over how well you interpreted this challenge ..Huge Success! Definitly has an old dinasour effect to it!
