Sheep and distant wind mills

...Lake George (Weereewa).

When the Lake is low farmers graze their sheep on the grasslands that are flooded when the lake fills. Paddocks are fenced off. They seemingly only pay shire rates on these lands in years when the sheep can graze.

Great colors, and so interesting that this area floods regularly and is used for grazing when it's dry.

Beautiful subject and the film gives it a pastel effect which you should tag it for this week's theme so you can win that along with the PP and top 20 too!

I don't know that I'll ever get used to the sight of those wind turbines. They look so alien on the landscape. Wonderful shot and story about this place though! I can imagine the grass here is pretty lush for the sheep.

Nice one. Sheep and windmills are two of my favourite things. No dry stone walls though so it can't be Yorkshire it looks too vast
