wow, madness.
I've got the Ikon Nettar, nice little piece. and simple to work out the dials. However I have to 'wind' the shutter each time I want to take a photo, and there's a wind-on lever above the lens, but on mine it doesn't seem to budge, is this only possible when the camera has film in it maybe? I'm hoping my Nettar isn't broken, I've had cameras where you must prime the shutter before firing but this lever is locked against moving as though I have to do something else. any thoughts?
@chewyteeth Cock shutter on lens and see if it fires. Check that the firing mechanism is properly triggering along its path. Sometimes the levers are not properly in position to trigger when these unfold. There is a red dot next to wind on, which means it is ready to fire. These don't allow double exposures. Voigtlanfpders need film to work but generally these should trigger ok without film. You shoul be able to get a manual on Butkus. The Nettar is very simple functioning.

cheers.
I got the butkus manual already, it just says wind the lever, but its not budging. I'll make sure everything is lined up, thanks.
