Last night huge thunderstorms hit our region as a cold front hit southeastern Australia. In the highlands 20 kilometers from us it snowed. On the coast this morning it was only 3 or 4 degrees celsius, gale force winds, torrential rain and a predicted 5 meter swell. This afternoon when there looked to be a brief break in the weather I headed back to Bombo Point, hoping for spectacular dynamic wave action. It is great to photograph a place in all kinds of weather.

Thar she blows!! The rock formations resemble the buttes in our midwest states. They look like they would be rock climbers dreams. Fantastic capture Peter!
