Waiting for the 7:01am

...to Sydney from Wollongong.

For get-pushed @davidwren challenged me "to do a City Scape, or even something shot right in the streets but including some nice architecture to make it more landscape style, a twist on what you know best I guess?" The closest I get to city or street is when I drop me daughter at the station to catch the train. I took advantage of the light coming through the platform to take a streetscape with a sunrise twist.

Taken with Olympus OM-1 on Velvia 50 (expired) and developed in Tetanal E6 Colortec.

Well done for the challenge, Peter! I love the colors and the PoV... getting the landscape (definitely one of your strengths!) along with the street shot is amazing.

Spot on! This is so cool man, I love it. I've been shooting a lot with my roll of Portra 400 but I haven't finished it yet so when I get it developed I'll be sure to upload it and tag you. Great photo though, colours are lush
