St. Petersburg, Russia. The destruction of what looks like a historical building, which it actually isn't. The whole lot of historical buildings were destructed at the end of XX century to build this luxury hotel, which was never fully constructed and is being destroyed now.
I never knew about all this before today, I just wanted to make a nice shot, but it turns out this place has a huge history, including several mystical events, such as Rasputin visits, death of Metropolitan of Saint Petersburg at the pre-opening reception and several others.
