Mythic Shoe Tree

This is a rare tree indeed. There are only a few known to exist. They are full of shoes. No one knows how they get there, but they do make for very fascinating photos.

When I was in the Army, we used to leave our shoes in the tree as we left the post for the last time! Maybe it's something like that?
