This view of the mountains is actually taken from Gaitlinburg, TN which has many wonderful views of the mountains. It is said that the blue hue that comes off is actually from a combination of chemicals present and the moisture in the air. Combine this with air pollution and you get the idea. It is definitely beautiful country though.
