Buckeyes are the state plant for Ohio, where I live. I know by looking at this photo, you cannot tell that these are buckeyes yet, but once you crack this outer shell, you'll find the nut that everyone refers to as the buckeye. The buckeye can be seen worn by those in my city on any given game day Saturday...and every day in between.
