This is actually a shot taken today - but is meant for yesterday (wasn't satisfied with my shots from yesterday)! This is a cocktail shaker - was just seeing how different settings reflected different lights and colours off the surface. Loved how the colours and reflections changed depending on where this was placed. This shot was taken outside in the fernery of all places - note the greens and the blue sky, plus the browns from the timber outdoor setting. I had a play with effects for the back part of the image as it looked a bit ordinary - thought it came up ok though - if I was asked to explain how I managed to get the effect - I'm not sure!! but I think it worked - well enough for me at this stage anyway! :)
Interesting shot Evelyn - the colour and reflection are very vibrant - and your background works well. Reminds me of Jeannies bottle from I Dream of Jeannie! Almost missed the holes at the base (?) because the focus is mid frame!
